After Julian Roberts’ fascinating demonstration of Subtraction Cutting at the Assembly Rooms I headed down to Green Park Station to have a look at the Vintage Fashion Fair.
The sunny Sunday afternoon mood was perfectly set with accompaniment from The Gavin Lazarus Trio playing jazz standards as well as original music, whilst visitors enjoyed cava, coffee or sunday lunch.
People were dressed up from all eras, perhaps en route to the Secret Tea Party.
There were numerous stalls selling retro clothes and accessories as well as costume hire. I keep hoping that one of these days I’ll be asked to draw at an event that requires a vintage outfit; any excuse to dress up!
With the Spring sunshine blazing through the glass roof of the old station, it was the ideal finale to Bath in Fashion week.
